Do you want a tired, happy dog to come home to after your day at work? A well-behaved dog that is a joy to own, that you can take anywhere with you? Then our Walk and Train service might be exactly what you are looking for.

Your dog gets a 1-1 training session with a professional trainer, giving them the mental and physical stimulation they need to be happy while learning to be an obedient pet. It is ideal for people who don’t have the time or expertise to train their dog, or who want their dog to get more out of their lunchtime walk while you are at work. It is also an affordable and effective alternative to residential training.
How it works
The first session is an hour at your home, where we discuss your and your dog’s needs and what your hopes are for training. In later sessions I take your dog out for training, working towards our agreed goals. You are very welcome to join in, and I will explain what I am doing and help you continue your dog’s training. You can be as involved as you wish. If you are not able to come to your dog’s training sessions we will meet periodically to discuss progress and any questions you may have.
I use purely kind, positive methods of training, partly because I believe in treating your dog as well as humanely possible, and partly because they have been shown to produce the most effective, long-lasting results.
Issues I deal with
- Pulling on the lead
- Barking at other dogs or people
- General manners and basic training
- Puppy training and socialisation
- Not coming when called
- Hyperactivity
- Fearful or worried dogs
- Dogs who are great at training classes, but lose it in the real world
